srtut top

Hello, with the top of the strut removed (sphere bracket) the chrome leg that inserts into it has an oil hole at the top, does this need to line up with any holes on the strut top?

Hope not I put mine back anyway and it works OK .I think the top has a groove all the way round to let the oil flow . john.

John is quite right there is a grove all the way round
