Post by AX_Man »

Is there any special paint you should use for repainting a wiper arm as its come off in some places?

Can't imagine that you would need anything special..... I think however that they look best in matt black

Living as I do in a tropical coastal region, I use "self etching" primer and then a matt black as a top coat; both in "fly spray" cans and it works a treat and lasts for years.

Why not fit a new one? It will probably cost the same as buying primer and paint.

OK A new one. That means main dealer I guess?

GSF surprisingly don't list wiper arms in their catalogue ...

Still inclined on the paint front, as I need to do some spray painting 1 side of the car and a bit of bumper filler too.

Then I've got to redo my mastic seal around the aerial as when I got the car cleaned, the cleaner was too vigorous and has pulled it off where it leaks as I discovered when it rained a few days ago :(
