205 Starting Problem

Can anyone help??
My dad has a Peugeot 205 TD, on an L-Plate. He is currently experiencing problems when trying to start the engine when it is hot. He has no problems with starting the engine from cold, however after a journey it refuses to start for a long time after. This problem can change from being intermitent to being after every journey.
Has anyone experienced problems like this? as my dealer has been very unhelpful in helping me rectify this problem,

Next time it refuses to start, loosen slightly an injector union. Attempt to start. If there's no fuel escaping, check that the stop solenoid is working correctly.
