Xantia external air temp sensor

Used to be in the drivers door mirror.

Run your finger along the bottem and you should feel a little bumpy bit poking out, that is it!!

To get access, remove the glass.

That's definately where it is on a Mk1 Xantia; whether or not they decided to move it to the front bumper somwhere like every other manufacturer for the MK2's I don't know.

On the XM its on the passenger side mirror.

On my 98 Xantia it is on the bottom of the LH mirror, close to the car body.

Thanks for the replies. It seems it is on the LH mirror, my Xantias temperature readings have been very erractic and then today just showing dashes, when I opened the LH door the display then showed a rising temperature. I also noticed that the stereo stopped working on the front speakers but the sub I've fitted still worked. This seems to indicate that the speaker wiring goes into the door or the loom is damaged in the A pillar.
