Post by rich201283 »

Peugeot 406 1.9dt 1998

I have tested the tdc sensor by unplugging the injector sensor and the tacho works.

How can i test the speed sensor????????????????????????

Also does anyone know what sensors the car uses to feed the ecu with information as it appears to not be adjusting the timeing????????????

the best way to test an inductive sensor is to use an ociliscope if you have access to one

TD doesnt have electrically adjusted timing? or does it.. newer ones could do hmmm

pull the sensor out and insert a bit in and put on a drill...

presumably the speedo itself works?
