leaking header tank

leaking header tank
drove approx 200miles yesterday in my 2.1td xantia ran nice and cool and i checked water when i got back and it hadn't lost any today after a run i noticed some water dripping turns out that the header tank is leaking around the join, it appears to be made in 2 halfs has anyone come across this problem before

This is a very common fault (sorry! characteristic) and it isn't unknown to get thro' several in the life of a vehicle..
