2.1SXTD Airbag

Hi All
Just got my 97 2.1SXTD Est Xantia, nothing too drastic when i looked at it needed a tyre, the brake pedal spring removing and the AC regased, then noticed the airbag light wasn't coming on with the ignition, dash out and what a suprise no bulb, now stuck one in and its flashing

Whats the common faults with the airbag on these, and if i rectify the fault will i have to have the system reset to clear the light or will it just go out????

Common faults are dodgy connectors to each front seat - and the slip ring in the steering wheel (under the airbag).
The lamp clears when faults are corrected. No special procedure.

Record your radio code (just in case) then disconnect battery completely, first the minus, then the plus poleclamps.
Wait ½ hour then go digging on the steering wheel and seats.

All sorted now, was the slip ring thingy, ahh bliss no flashing light
