205 1.8 TD problem!

Hello.

Basically the car isn't running right at all. It takes ages for it to boost and when it does it doesn't exactly pull like it should!

Tonight on the way home I had my foot flat to the floor in 2nd gear and it took like 10 seconds to get to 45mph!

Any ideas?

Has it just happened or has the engine been worked on?
