1994 Espace Alarm
Hi, i have a 1994 espace, the remote fob unlocks and locks the doors but does not disarm the alarm/immobiliser. At the moment the alarm is switched off via the key on the alarm siren. Its a gemini alarm, looks like an after market installation, if this is the case could it be that there is a bad connection from the wires coming from the locking motor in the drivers door? Assuming this is the way the alarm works via the signal from the central door locking. Maybe a case of ripping the old alarm out and fitting an updated model.

You may well be right in your thoghts on a defective connection to the alarm.
Cant think it will be connected inside the door though - that would be silly.
Try find the 2 wires running to all lock motors (they are connected in parallel). These 2 wires change polarity to lock/unlock the lock motors.
I suspect that somewhere up under the dash there will be some wires not looking the same as the rest. If these wires runs to a control box and a siren - you have the alarm. 2 of the alarm system wires will connect to the 2 lock motor wires.
I beleive its just a matter of some patience - and removal of dash panels.
