My Xantia jumps

When I switch the hydrolic suspension to maximum and
then back to normal, the car come down to normal
height for few seconds and then suddenly jumps up and
then slowly settle down again. Sometime happen to the
front and sometime happen to the rear suspension.
What could be the possible cause of this???

I guess you have a hydractive suspension, which sometimes behaves as you described.
