Which clutch kit

My car is an M Regxantia 1.8i dimension. I have just been quoted £475 inc the dreaded VAT to have a new clutch fitted. The garage quoted a price of £315 for the clutch, and £90 for labour. I know I can get one from GSF car parts for less but i am not sure which one is right for my car. Please can someone advise me which one is the right one. Thanks

If you have a Mr Clutch near you they will change a Xantia clutch for about £280. My local independent Citroen garage recommended them as he doesnt do Xantia clutches any more, "too much like hard work".

Sure that wasn't the other way round? What's the clutch made of - gold dust? Even a main agent wouldn't charge that much! Or did it include a new flywheel as well? And £90 for the labour - I'd bite their hand off at that!

The 1.8 shouldn't be too awkward for the clutch change. The 1.8 uses a conventional push clutch which makes life a bit easier.

You can purchase either an exchange clutch kit or new clutch kit from Citroen :
2051.12 - SERVICE EXCHANGE CLUTCH KIT - Dkr1213,25 ~ £110 (exvat)
2052.A0 - CLUTCH KIT - Dkr2029,20 ~ £180 (exvat)
0532.C9 - FLYWHEEL NEW - Dkr2139,15 ~ £195 (exvat)

ok thanks for your help, all i need now is someone to fit it for me. maybe i should ask the garage if i supply will they still fit it for £90
