I'm about to fit a new ABS rear sensor,is there anything I should do to prolong it's life :?: Also is there any maitainance that can be done to the other sensors to help them last longer :?:

The shoulder lugs that hold the respective points of the sensor in check on the caliper should absorb a fair amount of impact if the cable is correctly routed - dont have too tight a bend or a short throw near the jump the cable makes to the fixed mounting on the face of the wheelarch. It actually looks like the tightest bend is where this point then runs into the inner engine bay down to the multi plug connector.

What kills the inner wiring is tight flexing of the main cable and that's pretty much all you need to bear in mind. Sure copperslip the threads on the through bolt and nut that holds the sensor on the caliper. Two just came out for me yesterday without any grief and they may well have been in situ for the last 10 years!!
