Boot Window Switch Problem ::: C5 estate

my c5 estate.... the window is supposed to open... when the button under the rear wiper is pressed... while the car open .... my doesnt work since i bought it... any reasons for faliure? anybody had the same problem? or it should be electrical?

It could be a problem with the wiring in the tailgate window itself. Particularly on earlier C5's it was known problem, mine had it replaced twice under warranty. Fingers crossed the third one has been OK !
