Hi and thanks for helping, my wife has got a 96 Xantia 1.9td and have now got total light failure all headlights dip/full and sidelights (and maybe the codepad too) all fuses are okay, not that they would all go but looked at them anyway, if you can help please email Richard monervision@yahoo.co.uk

Hi ACTIVE8, :)

It looks like this topic got transferred to this section today.
I’m no longer too sure of what loom causes the problem. :?
I first thought that the one passing along the back of the radiator was causing the problems because on some cars the openings of the shroud pieces are at the top and taking in water, while normally the openings are meant to be at the bottom.
There are posts about another loom passing under the radiator, not visible through the top, and only accessible by removing the bumper.
Maybe that the latter is for the Mk II only.
If the OP gets back, we may get some clarification.
