306 noisy when on full lock

Hi,
I have an R reg 306 which is noisy when the steering is on full lock(usually when parking) I have been unable to locate the source of the noise. any suggestions :?

Regular clicking / knocking noise? It'll be a CV joint.

Its a knocking noise but it only seems to happen when parking the car.
