HDI engine K light

When this little blighter stays on all the time what has it actually found to worry itself about - the handbook refers to issues that only seem applicable for petrol models...

I think this means there's a fault code stored in the memory. After a certain number of engine start-stop cycles, the lamp will go out, but the fault code will remain.

I think.

Certainly that's what seems to happen on the 306HDI90 engine.

I would investigate the error! There must have been something wrong at some point in time and solving it can avoid serious problems. The HDi engine is quite sensitive to many little annoying things, such as CR pressure sensor, TDC sensor, etc.
