Scratch

Post by ACTIVE8 »

Take a look at this link below, and read the description. :)

Apparently the cosmetic damage to the paintwork (scratches) does not affect the speed of the car ! :D Image

So, the damage has not affected the drag coefficient ! Image LOL

Look at his other items- he's dismantling a Xantia, some other bits'n'pieces, fair enough, BUT, would anyone be tempted by a secondhand air-bag.......???

I found that comment from him about the scratch amazing !

As for someone buying a used airbag from him, not a good idea !

Safety related items are best not bought from a supplier who does not know, or has no proper proof of the condition, as there is an explosive charge in it to set it off, then how safe will it be, and it could go off while someone is driving, at the wrong time.

Does this guy weld himself inside the car so no panel joints affect the car speed?

Good point !

He has not considered the shut lines/panel gaps, you can just imagine his car doors welded up Dukes Of Hazzard style. :D

He broke a P reg Xantia Activa which he bought with a mate - was breaking the easy to get off stuff and had the ROLLING shell removed by the yard it was being stored in...

ie. all running gear INCLUDING THE WHEELS AND ACTIVE RAMS...

Guess what I asked him to remove for me...

oh, AND THE GOOD ENGINE & BOX went the same way to become bean cans!

What a plonker !

So all the special Activa bits have been wasted and crushed, and to make it worse even the gearbox and engine have been crushed, what a waste !

There are not that many Activas about, and with idiots like that seller, then the precious few that are about are being wasted.
