Manually turn off xantia alarm?

Post by LeeDJC »

After disconnecting my battery yesterday,my alarm keeps going off every time you open the door or start the ignition. I've turned of the siren, so it's quiet, but the headlights keep flashing.

My plip doesn't work either :(

Is it possible to manually deactivate the alarm, or will I need to sort out my plip first?

Cheers

try taking batt pos terminal off, then putting ignition on, and reconnecting terminal;;

The procedure is :

Open the door, press and hold down the alarm button (on my car, the furthest right of three buttons to the right of the steering wheel), put the key in the ignition and turn it fully.
Once you have turned the key, continue to hold the button down until both 'turn' lights stop flashing.
You have, I think, 10 seconds from when you open the door to complete the sequence or you have to try again.
