Xantia roofbars

Post by jgra1 »

folks, am I right in thinking that 405 roofbars will fit a xantia?

I seem to have holes in roof like a 405 does?

thanks

Sort of. The hole spacing is not t he same. A 405 has a wider spacing so you would have to re drill the 405 brackets. It can be done, I used my Dads old 405 bars on my Xantia saloon for a couple of years.

At least they were straight bars, my genuine Citroen Xantia estate bars are curved so, when you put a flat sheet of wood or a door on them, it does not sit flat

;)

does that mean then, that with some drilling, 306 bars may fit?

I can go and measure a 306 easily.....

I don't know if 306's have the threaded holes in them. Also the width of the roof is important.
