anyone breaking a xantia ? Washer pump needed

Post by jgra1 »

guys, I know its a small silly part, but I am quite desperate for a Xantia Washer pump. I have broken one of the two outlets on mine :( and I am trying to sell car. Breakers are too far away..

The pump is a push fit in the bottle, but when taking the pipes off it is easy to break the union/s. (I presume one union is for front screen and one for back, how does this work, with only two wires going to unit?)

help :) will paypal you straight away...

also, if anyone has an outside door trim for a front Right (Offside UK) Xantia, in the dark blue late '90's colour i would pay handsomely ;) Colour is Mauritius Blue I think, code PKP?

on a different note

My V6 seems to have wires running to the washer jets on the bonnet edge, what are these for? Heating?

I can't do you a pump but I can tell you how it works. It just spins one way for the front screen and the other way for the back.

Are there any motor factors near you? I'd be surprised if you couldn't get a replacement pump from a motor factor for under £20.

GSF have them at £11.75, part No. N93756. Euro have them too but they cost more.
