Middle Brake Light

Who can tell me how to remove the centre brake light on a Mk2 Xantia? Can it be popped out from the outside or do I have to delve into internal rear panel?

According to the BOL the procedure is as follows

1. Open the tailgate
2. On Hatchback models, remove the securing screws and clips, and withdraw the trim panel.
3. Unscrew and remove the two securing screws, then withdraw the light unit and disconnect the wiring plug.
Refitting
4. Refitting is a reversal of removal.

I don't have a MK II and can't tell if the above is the truth or not. Use at your own risk, etc.
