Hi to all,
How can one tell if the break valve has packed up?
Sometimes when I break hard, the front of the car raises immediatley after the car reaches a full stop. It rises in one unique movement, like a bump. It also happens that when stopping at a downhill (eg at a crossroad - yes I do respect the STOP signs!!), the rear also does some funny up and down going.
Any ideias? are these symptoms of leakage?
Rostami.

Thats more like air in the rear brake lines/calipers.
"air" should be interpreted as escaped N-gas from a sphere.
You wont ever notice a failing brake valve in a hydraulic Citroen - unless it is so bad it provides you with a green foot bath or similar serious symptoms
PS : before bleeding the brakes do the Citaerobics.
(some call it Limbo-rock - if that means anything to you
