I've read that the Estate was built by someone different than the saloon. There are numerous threads about the estate doors loosing their weld.
Had (Saxo VTR 1999 (T) LPG converted - do not ask!!!)
Had (Xantia LX TD 1995 (M) 144,000 miles)
Had (Xantia TD Estate (N) 147,000 miles !)
NOW GOT Picasso 2.0HDi (02) 96,000 miles

Don't quote me or anything  BUT everything different happens aft of
the B pillar! I've got a 98 S2 estate in a barn that I can check out against a 95 S1 saloon if that's what you're trying to compare the front doors with...

Hi Kenny.

I'm more than happy to check my cars for you but I wont be be able to check them out until the weekend. That said, I've looked at Citroen's parts database and S1 & S2 Xantia doors check out to be EXACTLY THE SAME for the front and the rear doors irrespective of their age. There's certainly no mention of Xantia Estate FRONT doors!!

Hope this permits you to get hold of the doors you need for your Estate!

Actually, the only likely problem that I can forsee is the S2 car has colour coloured waist line door cappings but the earlier ones will have the textured black cappings. Have you fully cross checked the colour codes off both bulkheads...

Yep, 9002 K9!!

As it's an estate, it may be worth getting new hinge pins or at least check out your door hinge mount

You'll have to feed the wiring out of the original door and into the new one!
