As the Title says I'm now the proud owner of a 1999 Xantia HDI 110BHP
Great car but a couple of things I hadn’t thought of
1. Can the front seats get seat covers as they have airbags ( But the velour is doing the normal bobbling)
2. Can the Airbags in the seats be disconnected and the seats changed without mush hassle
3. Does anyone know if the MK1 & MK2 seats are the same as I’ve seen a set of leather ones from a MK1 online but not sure about fittings
Thanks in advance
So gone back to a Xantia Mk2 facelift need a little advice

Hi there.
The hand book ADVISES not to fit seat covers, as the Bags are in the bolsters of the seats..
You could always take the airbag light out of the dash for the side bags and disconnect them under the seat..
The only item you can transfer to the Leather seats on ebay are the seat belt tensioners.. Air bags are not part of the MOT test yet APPARENTLY.
Runners for the seats ARE the same, so you could put the leather across, but as mentioned you'll have no side bags...
Safty or style first ...

For a start your insurance company will not like you disconnecting part of the SRS system & could refuse to payout if you are involved in an accident & they find the side airbags have been disconnected or removed.CitroenNuts wrote:As the Title says I'm now the proud owner of a 1999 Xantia HDI 110BHP
