Got mine through direct choice - quite expensive now because I've changed from petrol to diesel and the insurer ( think axa ? ) have a minimum premium.

However, for a 2.0 GTX auto est it was about £320
For the current STDT est it would be about £230

Fully comp, 20k miles per year, 6yrs ncb, relative newbie as a named.

www.directchoice.co.uk

or a better bet would be to use confused www.confused.com - these submit your details to a range of insurers and list the quotes in order - very good.

Oh, and aparently quite often LPG is a "notify only" modification to the car - in other words it wouldn't affect the premium - I asked this before I took the policy.

I have used insuresupermarket.com before and it came up with a good price for me, acts like a broker and gives you a the prices and the links to the different insurers. Give it a bash, takes 5 mins and checks all the major players as well as small companies.

Cheers
