ZX Engine question

Post by ci_newman »

Evening all,

Ive been trying to do some work with the downpipe on my 2.0i 8v model, and it occured to me that the rocker cover is damned annoying! Why did citroen make the thing so damn large and useless?

Anyway, it got me thinking as the overall shape is very similar to that of the 1.9i models. I know the pipe work would be different, but has anyone attempted any kind conversion?

I havent seen any advertised, but surely there a performance filters available for the car so wouldnt the air-box need to come off to fit one?

Cheers

Chris

Lol, yes Ive worked under the car as well but a lack of wheel ramps and some rather broad shoulders means its quite hard to move around under there!
