immobilizer false alarm today

Are there any reasons or things i should know about that would cause my immobilizer not to disarm when i put the key in the ignition.

I put the key in as normal, and as usual I wait for the glow plugs to go off, but they little orange key light in the revcounter didn't go off and it started beeping!! I pulled the key out, and tried again and it was fine? very weird, anyone else come across this before, any reasons why?

Could be the immobiliser aerial on the way out, A new one is less then £10 from Citroen

an aerial? where is that located?

Look for a round black unit around the ignition barrel

i'll bare that in mind, £10 huh, seems cheap for a Citroen
