Life feels good just as you complete No4 Glow Plug on a ZX-TD
zurich also do the same, and you can add other named drivers to the second policy too.Quackers wrote:Direct Line do a "Second Car" deal, where they will put your No Claims from the first also on the second car as long as its only you who will be driving them.

unfortuatly its the rules we live under that makes it a pain. In a ideal world (the states have something similar I'm told)
We wouldn't pay road Tax, that would be put of fuel, if you don't use it you don't pay for it. Fuel is also cheaper the more you use, so if you fill up you get a discount.
You insure the car as per normal but only pay for the milage that you do & your insurance is on a numberplate;
You own a numberplate that way if you have multipul cars you can just unbolt the plate screw it on your other car & drive. Because you insure the plate your insurance covers a whole raft of cars on one policy. The police use computers nowadays so there is no reason why multipul cars cannot be registered under the same numberplate.
The mot is a disc in the window of the car, similar to HGV's.
In my twisted mind this solves so many problems & makes owning two cars much much easier.

I've insured both of my cars with Elephant and they gave me a no claims discount straight away on the second car.micitroen wrote:As with Direct Line, Elephant .co.uk will 'mirror' the no claims on your second car...........in fact they've even done it for my third car.
I'm fairly pleased with their service, although they do use call centres in India at some times of the day.
