Hi, did you get a warranty with your car? As I’m on my second rear window from my dealer and it seams to be a common fault with the car.

the car was my company's ex-fleet at a "bargain" price so warranty... is not on

i dont know if it can be a blow fuse problem, or the lock is damaged or even just the switch.

Had the same problem with mine, and another person on this forum had it too.
Opne the boot lid, remove the trim. You will find a solenoid with a 3mm diameter steel rod or so goinfg up. Push it up to open the rear glass.
Take the plastic ocver out, on the inner side of the wiper blade and you will find a plug. Disconnect it for a few days (if it's not raining), and put everything back; Then make contact on the plug with the key and see if you hear the solenoid activating. If it works again, put some sealant around the (na zona de encaixe do conjunto do plático exterior, junto ao botão) - sorry, didn't remember this in english, guys - and assemble everything. I suspect it's a humidity problem that shorts the solenoid, and the prolonged "on" action put's it out of service.

Take care!
