Having nearly reached 160K miles on my year 2000 Xantia HDi, I think its time for a cambelt change ( it was last done around 80K from the service records ).
I'll inspect the aux belt and crankpulley condition for any deterioration of the rubber.
I've noticed a recommendation to change the tensioners - is this part of the standard schedule or simply a precaution?
Anything else I should be checking whilst I'm in there. It looks a bit tight for space in there, so any hints on getting access and doing the job?
Cheers - Jez
