Noisy Suspension?

Hi, I have recently purchased a 2003 Lag Initiale hatch (30k), with what seems a excessively noisy ride.On rough road surfaces it bashes and crashes.Are there any known suspension issues ? Any info appreciated Dave.

I've heard that the new sahped Laguna is prone to front suspension wear on its' bushes.

Thanks for the tip.
The supplying dealer has "checked" the front suspension components and "all is as it should be".I have even had a second dealer road test it and he said it is "not an abnormal ride".Yet when I drive it, especially with passengers everybody comments on the noisy ride. Now that I am listening, it sounds worse from the rear of the car. Suppose I will have a try and track down the source myself. Dave

Could be a case of new car to driver panic. Different noise, different car. That kind of thing.

I previously drove a Laguna2 1.8 Priv for 65k, from new.I even had the wheels swapped over between the two cars. There is certainly something different about this car.Dave

I am finally getting somewhere, I had noticed that the front suspension leg was coated with some substance.Had it diagnosed as a knackered shock by a Renault garage. My supplying dealer has just replaced the front pair foc. Only got the car back yesterday will see if there is any noticeable difference next week going to work.This still leaves the rear of the car to look into. Latest update just had the rear bushes replaced (warranty) and a new pair of rear shocks, wow what a difference. Dave
