Borrowed Citroen AX question...

I'm currently using a borrowed AX and got a minor problem!

I can't figure out how to open the bonnet, I've looked for the release mechanism in the obvious (to me places) but no joy.

Help!

run your finngers down the shroud below the steering wheel go past the bottom edge of the plastic,and feel around upwards you will find the lever,then just pull it towards you,you wont see it you will have to feel for it

Cor, I wasn't expecting it on the steering column at all!

That's another obvious place for me to remember, the next time I borrow an older car.
