quote: "when warm sounds and drives like an orchestra a good one at that"
a diesel, c'mon, maybe an aston martin db9 v8 but a xantia diesel, and drives like an orchestra? what a vivid imagination
no answer given on the mileage, the guy can't be that serious to want to sell the car, maybe he'll miss the colour?

It shouldn't smoke when its cold, thats a sign that something is severely knackered (to use the technical term).milage on the clock 202000, but its got a recon engine no bills to prove it, when hot no smoke drives well.
White smoke = steam = headgasket? Its a 1.9TD and they can eat head gaskets.it smokes for about 10 minutes on tickover, but if you rev it, its goes off sooner white smoke, when hot drives kike it should

Nice colour ! NOT
A knackered engine in a yellow car.
Well it's a car that's destined to be sold for parts.
Who would want a yellow car !
As for the engine well that could require some considerable work on it.
There are no pictures of the inside of the car, but it's a fair bet that the interior is worn out.
So even if it's broken, I don't suppose that there will be too many good bits on it.

IT'S BACK!

Funny how he's having trouble finding a new owner for it!
Good for parts - I KNOW getting a straight facelift front end is difficult on a good day! Unless someone's seen a blue mk2 bonnet for sale...

Joe Le Taxi
It turns out looking at the view sellers other items, that they are I quote "having a clear out" and have many other items listed.
Here's the link to the long list of items.
http://search.ebay.co.uk/_W0QQsassZaccountopenQQhtZ-1
This is a picture of what they have called a "lucky dip" of new parts.

There are also two seperate listings for the same car a BX !
This other item has been listed, and might well be a turbo outlet elbow pipe.

The taxi is fit for nothing but the breakers, and helping to keep other cars on the road.
If anything the seller might as well break it !
The time that has elapsed between the two listings for the taxi, three months
would have been better used selling the bits off it.
As it's not something that anyone would want to keep on the road, and waste money on !
