Help ZX-TD94 Clutch Change

Hi
Just bought another ZX-TD 1994 it needs it clutch changing.

I have done most jobs now on my other Citroens but never done a clutch.
All help greatfully received.......Thanks

Get it good and high - you need about 18" under the front bumper to get the box out. Get a Haynes manual - the procedure is not bad in there, but ignore the advice about not removing the drive shafts, I can't see the sense in this for saving undoing one nut (OK, it's the hub nut, but not the end of the world!). Get an overhead hoist, much easier than a trolley jack. Hope that the pin will come out of the clutch operating arm. Change the input shaft oil seal and guide bush, the clutch release fork bushes, and the driveshaft oil seals. Fit a new top gearchange link if the old one looks suspect. Make sure you protect the radiator with a piece of board before you try and wiggle the box out. You can probably do it in a day if you have all the bits.

Find a friend that's done it before. Whereabouts are you :twisted:
