Peugeot 406 coupe

Just thinking of getting a 2L 406 coupe circa 97/98... Was just wondering if anyone could tell me what sort of MPG i could expect from this and whether there is a significant differnce in the MPG obtained from the revised 2L engine that came in I think in 99 or 2000.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi there.If you can,go & buy the new Top Gear magazine(April`s).There is a 3 page buyers guide on the 406 coupe 1997-2003.
The combined fuel figures in the guide are
2.0 34 mpg
2.2 32 mpg
3.0V6 27 mpg
2.2 HDI diesel 44 mpg.
