zx alarm again!!!!!

I set my alarm with the fob on my 1.9d avantage and now it won't let me disable it, i can disconnect the battery to silence the noise but how do I disable the immobiliser and then I can throw the goddamn fob thing in the bin and just use the key.

Lift up the Bonnet and just behind the drivers side headlight theres a rubber cap.Lift the cap insert your ignition key and turn to ALARM OFF.
This will disable the sounder....Hope it works.

Under the carpet behind the passenger front seat and close to the sill should be the alarm control box, unplug it and you can still use your fob for locking/unlocking.
