Air filter zx td

Forgive me for sounding stupid but where is the air filter positioned on a zx td is it the round canister located to the right as you face the car i will have to get a manuel for it.

Sometimes they're oblong and sometimes they're round. If you've got a round one,it's to the left of the battery, down at the front on the right, (as you face the engine). The top is held by one nut. Some of the pipe work may need to be loosened off to enable the lid to be moved to one side. The old filter lifts out and the new one drops in. Clean out the bottom of the housing first.

The air filter on my ZX TD is roughly where John says it is but the filter is removed by undoing three spring clips on the bottom of the filter can, the bottom of the can and the filter then drop out.
