Synergie courtesy lights

I've a '97 Synergie. The interior lights work on their individual switches - bar the main central one. However none work when doors open, i.e. as courtesy lights. Any ideas?

Have you tried out all positions of the switch at the interior light ?

One position only will set the lights to courtesy mode - only lit when door switches are operated. If not - you may start looking for a blown/bad fuse.
