Unread post by citroenbx »

I need to buy 4 new tyres from my ZX-TD There are so many to choose from.

Can you please share your experiences of tyres for a ZX.

Many thanks........

The only useful reply to this is surely "the best ones you can afford".

There's a direct correlation between tyre price and quality, so don't buy cheap ones.

I had budget tyres on the ZX Temp when I first got her and the handling was carp....got some alloys with Michellins on and the handling improved bucket loads

Village - My alloys from a Saxo VTR (i think they were VTR, arh who knows) were £100 and a few miles down the road...they were a little more scuffed and rough than first believed but then i was buying them merely for the tyres, and alloys were just a bonus.

Off Ebay

Thanks everyone for the replys so far...Seems Michelins are the best bet.

But which Michelin ? I.E Energy

They are the most expensive and need to purchase the correct ones.

Thanks

I use the energy ones - they are quiet in terms of road noise too
