C5 Heater

Anybody know why the heater switch will only work in the 3rd and 4th position and not the first and second position.

check resistor for heater fan the main resistor goes open circuit causing loss of speeds

the heater resistor is located in the right hand side of the heater box held in by a T-30 screw next to the clutch pedal.
