C 5 Key fob

Anyone know why when I press the key fob it does not work. Have checked the fuses and chaged the battery in the key phobe

turn ignition on then push and hold lock button for 10 sec's then remove key and try this resyncronises key

Thanks pugxpert,
worked first time, don't supose you know anything about heaters on them. The switch won't operate on the first and second settings, only works on the 3rd and forth.
