New club for CX owners.

Unread post by fastandfurryous »

For the owners of CX's here.. a new little spot out of the way. It's not meant to rival this forum, but instead be a little niche for the CX

www.cxclub.co.uk/forum

There will eventually be something on the front page, but since I only set this forum up last night, it may be a little while coming.

Thanks.

Good idea, I wish I still had mine. I used to have a 1980 Safari Diesel, then an '81 Safari diesel and finally a '86 Safari td which I ran for seven years and about 150k miles and sold at 266k.

I should really have put "past, present and future" owners of the CX, so you'd be very welcome.

I'm hoping that it might get somewhere near what BXclub has done for the BX, although with the rarity of CX's in the UK, and their ability to rust away before your very eyes.... we shall have to see.

Well, In the 10 years or so that I ran them, I did a fair few jobs, including about 10 head gaskets! So if I can be of assistance, I'm here! Mind you, my experience doesn't extend beyond diesel engines, but I think the rest of the car is pretty well the same. Just a question of my memory.......
