bleeding brake son HDi xsara after pipes replaced

Post by simonelsey »

Whats the best way to bleed the system.

Pressure or Suck

Should I purchase a easibleed pressure kit , or one of the trigger suck systems .

Ive heard that the pressure bleeds system can leak and suck more air in .

trigger seems cleaner . But will trigger work on ABS systems , like on xsara ,also in haynes BOL it says if Voltage applied through modulator it will render unit useless ????.
Also could someone please explain why it cannot be done the old fashion way. I look foward to some intresting replies

Regards
Simon

Ive used a easybleed on a 405 with normal ABS brakes before, It was the Bosch 2E ABS system.

No problems with that method on that system.
