Bouncing Xantia

Hi my Xantia is bouncing down the road like a rubber ball. What needs to be fixed please :?:

Sounds like a bad case of "deflated-sphereitis".

A new set of suspension spheres is the cure

If its a hydractive one there will be six, otherwise four. If they have gone I would check the accumulator sphere as well.

If the symptons have happened suddenly then check the plastic clip hasnt cracked/split and become detached from the height corrector before replacing spheres.

How do I know if it is hydractive?

What plastic clip? Where is this clip?

Where are these spheres?

Found this by searching for 'plastic clip' (one of Anders DK)

The linkage rod should of course be fixed at its balljoint. It "pops" on (or off) the ball. If it has cracked it wont stay on. Sometimes the short ballpin ond the ARB simply has snapped off.

Great diagram zzf001 but what is it of? and where is it located? and what part am I looking for ? Wjat is ARB?

Their is so much info on this site.... even about this little plastic clip, I suppose what I was suggesting was a quick search for yourself would reveal a weeks worth of reading.... all of it pertinant to your current difficulty.
