Just had my cambelt done on my '93 Xantia SX TD. 230 sovs Included new waterpump (as a precaution as it is cambelt driven). The mechanic test drove it and said he hadn't driven a mark one that felt like this since they came out! I was really pleased to hear this as it's my first Citroen, but he said the suspension, brakes everything were perfect (I'm the second owner from new, FSH). Last week I put 4 new tyres on her and had the wheel alignment checked and that was a massive improvement I can see why people put up with the unreliability of Citroens. The ride is fantastic. I do 130-150 miles a day round trip to work and this is the most comfortable, luxurious and economical car I have ever had. And it sinks at night and rises in the morning. What an amazing car for 500 quid!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Dave,
Good to hear that you are enjoying your Citro. I have had 6 Bx`s and 3 Xantias--still got 2 at this moment in time. Must be an aquired taste, or masochism
