since a car crashed into the front of my xantia my wipers have become intermittent the horn has ceased working,the rcl and central locking has stopped working including the fuel cap lock the interior lights hardly work and when they do they surge along with the clock and when the non working horn is pressed the clock fades out!!!!
the stereo asks for code everytime as it must be resetting i have a MOT on feb 27th and have bouncy suspension and i really need some help maybe a citroen specialist around the swindon area can anyone please help or im going to have to scrap it with 45,000 on the clock

Remember people on this forum are always talking about the loom under the radiator (usually corroded wires). Have you checked this yet? A lot of people with electrical faults are directed to this area of the car. I think if you check Diana's post from yesterday she was advised to check this for her electrical faults. Do you have hydractive suspension as well?

Yes, the front hydractive regulator is mounted in a relatively vulnerable position just behind the radiator. I sometimes wonder what would happen in the event of a decent head on collision - I'm sure that the large hydraulic pipes coming out of that unit going to the suspension struts would probably rupture :(

This all sounds symptomatic of a poor or open circuit earth connection, quite likely attributable to the accident. Have a good poke round where the others have suggested, pulling appart and checking any connectors, and I think you will probably find it.

Cool cheers chap its not far from me and i went through Purton the other day maybe i went past it!!
loving having a brand new courtesy car with 120 miles on i dont want the citroen back now i still need to get the spheres done
is it me or do they just start bouncing without noticing theyre going til they get realy bouncy?
