C5 HDI Injector Pump Leakage

My C5 have no problem until recent. There is fuel leaking from Bosch injector pump located in engine between fuel filter and injector rail. I can see its leaking top of the pump.
I phoned my local Citroen they advice me to change new pump which is £540.00 part + labor. Expensive: cry:
Is there any chance to repair it? It only looks like gasket problem.

Any suggestions welcome.

Thanks

I would not try and repair a high pressure pump on a HDI, replace it.

It's got screws in it, it ought to come off!

Worth having a word with your local Bosch injection specialist, and see what they recommend. I very much doubt you will need a new pump, and you can almost certainly get one cheaper than Citroen!

If you fill in your location details in your personal member profile - we can all at a glance decide which company you should try phone 8)
But any independent diesel specialist in your local area would be a good place to start - yellow pages.

Depending on your DIY skills (and facilities !) it may be a very simple task of replacing the gasket.
