306 HDi Cruise Control

Unread post by DHallworth »

As title suggests really, i am interested in fitting cruise control to my HDi. Just wondered if anybody knows how difficult it would be to fit it.

With some Citroen models it's just a case of fitting the switch(es) and reprogramming the ECU.

It might depend on the age of the car.

on the citroen models you can only do it to cars with a COM 2000 unit.i doubt a 99 model year car will have this.

The 306 was never multiplexed so it wont have a COMM 2000 unit.

Ive no idea if cruise control can be retrofitted to a 306 HDI, Ask your friendly local Peugeot dealer & have a look at his Laser parts breakdown for the 306

I'm sure its possible somehow, the posh continental version of the 306 had cruise control, so if not using Peugeot parts there must be an aftermarket kit somewhere you can use!!
