Checking your Plip/Key Remote

Post by Nomad »

Hi

To find out if the problem is with the Plip or the Sensor

If you are having problems with your Plip or the sensor, there is an easy way to find out if the problem is with the Plip or the sensor.

If you hold the Plip upto the lens of a digital camera or Mobile phone camera, look at the LCD display and press the button on the Plip.
If you see a light coming from the LED on the Plip then the sensor is at fault, if you see NO light from the LED then the Plip is at fault.

This works with all the cameras and phones i have tried it on, about 10 of them.

You can also test your normal remote controls this way.

Hope this helps
