C3 Radio and airbag

Post by Rajshah »

Looks like the winter blues are striking my 4 yr ols C3 HDi.
I have just had the airbag warning light go on while the car was unused for a few days. Hasn't been in any knocks or sharp braking. And the bags haven't tripped. Anyone aware of any obvious faults like connections?

I have noticed that my radio sensitivity fades after about 45 mins use ( I think related to use of heating in winter). It fails to tune to anything and produces a lot of hiss. Cd is working fine.
Any known faults in this area.? Thanks

Sounds like a trip to a Citroen dealer for a new COMM 2000 unit & a software update.

If the car is under 4 years old the COMM 2000 will still be under warranty, PSA Peugeot / Citroen held there hands up to this design fault & stuck a 4 year warranty on the original factory fitted COMM 2000 unit.
